I am a Pilates & Fitness Expert

Working with mid-life women to regain their weight, strength & mental health.

Ailsa Petchey is a mother of two, wife and entrepreneur. She loves personal fitness, wellbeing, photography and spending her relaxation time with family and friends.

Ailsa has previously written and co-authored a bridal book ‘21st Century Bride’ and ‘The Complete Wedding Guide’ for Marks & Spencer, published by Little Brown, whilst she was director at Virgin Brides in London.

Throughout she has maintained her love of fitness and instruction and when affected by her own menopause experiences, knew she had to write this book to share ways to help others going through their own journey.

‘One day at a time’ and ‘you’ve totally got this’ are her daily mantra’s, to pick herself up and tackle each day head on.

‘We are all unique and we will have our own menopause experience, but I hope this book will support, guide and inspire women to find a positive path and know they’re not alone’.

She set up the Facebook group 50 Shades Of Menopause  to help support women going through menopause and this book evolved from the success of the group plus the 21 Day Menopause Program she has run for the past year.

‘All the women who have followed my 21 day plan have lost weight and cm’s across their bodies, felt stronger, have more energy and many of their symptoms eased or disappeared. It’s been fantastic to see’.

I am a qualified health and fitness expert and teach a range of fitness classes including body conditioning, Pilates, Legs, Bums & Tums, Baby Sling Fit, Activation Band, HIIT. I love helping clients reach their goals and seeing the changes to both their mental and physical health along with the growth in confidence, strength and happiness. Qualifications: Diploma in Exercise to Music. Diploma in Mat Pilates Diploma in Ante & Postnatal Fitness.
